Wollombi Markets

Hunter Valley hotels

Rich in history with many boutique wineries, fantastic accommodation and beautiful scenery, Wollombi is just over an hour from the outskirts of Sydney and Newcastle and 30 minutes from Cessnock.

Thousands of visitors both local, interstate and overseas travel to the Hunter Valley region of NSW each year. The region has loads of festivals, music events and great markets and one of the best is the Wollombi Markets in Wollombi Valley in the beautiful lower Hunter.

With over 180 stalls, and growing each year, the Wollombi Markets has an amazing family atmosphere with live entertainment, food and refreshment stalls galore and treasures to be found. Local produce, plants, and herbs are beautifully displayed along with clothes, tools, bric-a-brac, antiques, memorabilia and locally crafted unique handcraft, just perfect for gifts and keepsakes.

A variety of food is also available from the cafes and the tavern located in Wollombi Village.
The attention to detail with these markets is fantastic, because they are only on a few times a year, the stallholders and entertainment really turn it on for the visitors.
As each market is run by volunteers from a different local community group, they benefit a cross section of this small rural community.

Wollombi Markets, a brilliant day out as part of your Hunter Valley experience, and not to be missed!
