Singleton Farmers Market was recently extended to include a unique range of art and craft and has evolved into the very popular Singleton Farmers and Craft Markets. There are now around 80 speciality stalls with an amazing range of farm direct produce including beef, lamb, trout, poultry,
cheeses, fruit and vegetables – just to name a few.
The markets showcase great produce from local producers to regional NSW farmers and it even includes oysters and prawns from Port Stephen. There are stalls run by local olive growers where you can buy excellent olive oil and other olive based products.
The unique arts and crafts produced by some of the region’s best known artisans and craftspeople will ensure you are spoilt for choice when you visit their stalls. Woodwork, hand blown glass, needlework, latch work rugs, ceramics, to name a few.
The markets have stalls where you can by birds and everything you need to go with them, Italian hot chocolates from Damn Hungry a new stall that also has gourmet muffins and quiche, and another with DVDs and CDs.
The local Hunter Valley Macadamia Farm has a stall at the markets and it is mind blowing how many products come from the humble macadamia, and they are all sold at the stall. Macadamia fudge, soap, macadamias in the shell, hand cream, macadamia brittle, and their signature honey cinnamon roasted macadamias.
A gourmet day out in a beautiful part of regional NSW and not to be missed for foodies and craft buffs alike!
